Aurowall

Frequently asked questions

What is Aurowall?

Aurowall turns any screen into atmosphere. Choose a mood and it plays matching music or a live stream with animated visuals, plus a clean overlay for time, date, weather, and playback controls.

What do Mood, Sound, and Scene mean?

Mood is how it feels (Cozy, Focus, Sleep). Sound is what plays — lo-fi, jazz, rain, white noise, and more. Scene is what you see — a rainy cafe, a fireplace cabin, a night skyline. Each mood has a default sound and scene, but you can mix and match any combination.

Is Aurowall free?

Yes. The free version includes moods, sound styles, scenes, time/date/weather, fullscreen, hide-UI, brightness control, and a basic Focus timer. Pro adds premium moods, sounds, and scenes, saved favorites, more Focus timers, and advanced customization.

Does Aurowall work on TVs and tablets?

Yes — Room Mode is built specifically for TVs, tablets, and wall screens: a fullscreen-first layout with a big clock, faster auto-hide, and remote-friendly controls you can drive with a keyboard or the phone remote.

Can I control Aurowall from my phone?

Yes. Scan the QR code in the player controls to pair your phone as a remote — change mood, sound, scene, volume, and brightness without touching the main screen. See the remote control guide for details.

How do I cancel a paid plan?

Manage or cancel anytime from your profile page's Plan card, or from the pricing page if you're already subscribed — both open Stripe's secure billing portal.

What is Aurowall for Business?

A branded ambient display for cafes, salons, gyms, offices, and lobbies — your logo, a QR code, hours, announcements, and music on a TV or tablet. Start from a free template or build a custom layout with the drag-and-drop designer.

Does Aurowall track my location?

No. Weather is resolved from your IP address only — Aurowall never prompts for or uses precise device location.

Where does the music come from, and can it stop working?

Most sounds stream from curated YouTube channels and live radio. If a stream ever goes down, Aurowall automatically switches to a backup source so the music doesn't just cut out.
