Setting up Room Mode for a TV
A fullscreen-first layout built for TVs, tablets, and wall screens, with a big clock and remote-friendly controls.
1. Turn it on
Open the player controls and tap the TV icon (or press R on a keyboard) to switch into Room Mode.
2. Let it fade
Room Mode auto-hides its controls faster than the normal view, leaving a big clock and weather reading in the faded state — ideal for a screen you're not actively touching.
3. Use a remote or keyboard
Arrow keys adjust volume and brightness; M mutes, F toggles fullscreen, H hides the UI, C toggles the clock, and R exits Room Mode. Focus rings make every control usable from a couch.
4. Pair it with a phone remote
Combine Room Mode with the QR remote so you're never reaching for the TV itself to change moods.
